Hamut Camp lies deep within the Sieera Madre mountains in the far North of Luzon. It is one of the remotest birding sites in the philippines and requires the hiring of porters and guides to gain acces. These problems are easily overcome, however, and the reward is some of the best birding in the archipelago, with the chance of seeing one of the world's major avian prizes, Whiskered Pitta.
